Website creation
Website creation in Lisbon
A fast site, in Portuguese, English or both, with one page per service so Google and ChatGPT have a specific URL to cite.
A site that can be found, not only looked at
Most local businesses in Lisbon already have a website. The usual problem is that the site is one long homepage. It can look finished and still give Google nothing to rank for the service someone actually typed. ChatGPT has the same problem: if the only page is a slogan and a gallery, there is no passage to quote.
We build the opposite. The homepage says who you are and where you work. Each service you sell gets its own page, with a title, an explanation and a way to get in touch. When the business serves people in Portuguese and English, both languages exist as real pages, with hreflang, so they are not treated as duplicates.
The build is the same shape we use on the live sites in the portfolio: clear pages, schema for the business, and measurement that counts enquiries rather than a vanity visit. We do not add a shop platform, ads management or an app. Those are not services we sell.
How a build runs
It starts with the free website audit. We look at speed, indexation, whether each service has a URL, and whether a visitor on a phone can actually call or send a message. You get a short list of what to fix first. We reply within 24 hours, whether or not you hire us.
If you continue, we agree the pages, the languages and what counts as an enquiry. Then we design and build. A site you already have can keep its look. The change is the structure, the speed and the markup, not a redesign for its own sake. Launch includes SSL and the analytics we will read with you afterwards.
You work with one studio. The person who writes the audit is on the build. After launch the monthly plan covers SEO, content updates, the blog and hosting. The plan has a six-month minimum. We do not publish a euro fee on this site. The proposal prices the scope we agreed.
What you can point to
The portfolio lists the sites we can show. Three of them publish numbers from their own analytics since launch: Valentina Hair Concept, Tiago Zattar Hair and kiloJoule. The others are live builds — salons, a fashion brand, a real-estate consultant, a Portuguese tutor and a supplier of professional hair products — without a traffic figure attached, because we do not invent one.
If your business is a hair salon, the salon page collects the five salon builds in one place. Other sectors use the same website service. We do not spin up an industry page unless we already have the work.
What the website includes
01
One page per service
Each offer you actually sell gets a URL, a title and a contact path. We do not add pages for services you do not offer.
02
Portuguese, English, or both
Bilingual sites use a real path per language and hreflang, so the English page is not a copy sitting next to the Portuguese one.
03
Speed and markup
The page is built to load quickly and to describe the business in schema: who you are, where you work, and which services you sell.
04
A contact path people finish
The form, and the phone or WhatsApp when you want them on the page, are part of the design. An enquiry is the point of the site.
05
Measurement from day one
Analytics is in place at launch so the monthly report can talk about enquiries, not only sessions.
06
Ready for the monthly plan
SEO, content updates, the blog and hosting sit on the same site. You do not rebuild it to start that work.
Case studies that use this
Every project below is a website we built. The three with published enquiry numbers are marked on their own pages. The rest are live sites without a figure we are willing to invent.
Questions about website creation
Do you only build websites in Lisbon?
The studio is in Lisbon and most of the work is for businesses in Lisbon and the rest of Portugal. kiloJoule is in São Miguel, so the site does not have to be for a Lisbon address. We still write for the place the business actually serves.
Can the site be in Portuguese and English?
Yes. Each language gets its own path. Hreflang tells Google which page is which. We do not publish the same text twice under two URLs and hope one of them ranks.
Will you copy the site I already have?
If the current site looks right and the problem is structure, speed or indexation, we can keep the look and replace what is underneath. The audit says which of those is true before anyone redesigns anything.
How long does a build take?
The audit reply is within 24 hours. The build length depends on the number of pages and languages, and we agree it in the proposal. We do not publish a fixed number of weeks, because a four-page site and a bilingual site with a service page each are not the same job.
Do you include a shop, ads or an app?
No. The services we sell are website creation, SEO management, content updates, blog creation, and hosting and security. If a client already has a shop on their own site, the case study says so. We do not sell that as a Lowy Digital product.
What does it cost?
We do not publish a euro price. The monthly plan covers the website, SEO, content, blog and hosting, with a six-month minimum. You get a proposal after we know the pages and the languages.
What happens after launch?
The site stays with us on the monthly plan: hosting, SEO, content updates and a blog post on the cadence we agreed. You get a plain-language report from Analytics and Search Console. The detail of each of those services is on its own page.
